I work in logistics when I’m not dreaming up random 17-syllable arrangements. One thing that never ceases to amaze me is how often people mistake speed for efficiency.
It’s not that the two can’t ever go hand in hand; it’s that they often don’t. Imagine the fastest possible way to do something. It probably won’t be the most efficient.
Quick and dirty may be just fine. Just be aware that what you saved in the short run could get collected in arrears. And don’t be surprised if the cost includes interest.
